I started painting full-time in 1994. Much of my inspiration came from interior decor and my early work involved painting old furniture and creating garden murals.
After many years, I ventured into creating paintings for hanging on the wall. I was a little nervous since I had no formal training and didn't know if I could successfully make the transition...
I continue to paint...lots and lots of paintings. Flowers, women, abstract, representational, intuitive, you name it. I pretty much want to paint everything and utilize any technique.
I dream, I write (mostly songs). I'm working on a musical. Actually, I've been working on this musical for far too long. It needs to happen already!
I stay in my pajamas for long stretches of time. Then I try to put my jeans on and find I've gained 5 pounds. I hate when that happens! Those darn brownies...
